Playing with my love for antiquities, this collection draws inspiration from the lines and curves in ancient Greek pottery: the kylix, olpe and especially the hydria with its beautiful depictions of women carrying water. Bold charcoal lines meet saturated swathes of paint to create colorful portraits and figures on each vessel. A whimsical ode to female strength and all the things we carry.
